Functional description:

Soukhya oil mainly prepared to strengthen the hair root and stop hair fall, it is helpful in treating migraine by regulating body heat.

Coconut oil is base oil for Soukhya in this Lauric acid has a high affinity for hair proteins and being of a low molecular weight and a straight linear, it is able to penetrate inside the hair shaft and strengthen the same.

The view of ayurveda:

According to Ayurvedic system of medicine excessive pitta makes the body acidic   in general body needs to be around 70% alkaline and 30% acid. … Besides, excess pitta at the root of hair can cause inflammation of  hair follicles (folliculitis) or of sebaceous glands, causing hair thinning or hair loss.

, dry dandruff is caused because of ‘Vata Pradhan Kapha dosha’.On the other hand, wet dandruff is caused because of ‘Kapha Pradhan Vata dosha.’

Stress caused by imbalanced vata dosha.

The herbs which added in oil preparation have qualities of balancing Vata and Pitta, regular application of Soukhya will balance all imbalanced doshas and keep check for hair fall, dandruff and promotes hair growth. Helps in reducing stress.

General application instructions:

Hair fall & Dandruff

Take sufficient oil and apply all over scalp and give mild massage.

Migraine & stress

Take few drops of oil and apply on the crown part of scalp from there it will balance imbalanced doshas through other three major nadis which are connected to particular point of scalp.

Includes/excludes:

Sleeping in AC after application of Soukhya may cause headache due to increase of kapha caused by the cooling herbs added in preparation.
